On February 3rd, over 100 international graduate students gathered at ISI’s vibrant Lunar New Year & Lantern Festival Party to celebrate the Year of the Rabbit! 🐰
The party began with the dedicated ISI team adorning the Common Room at Lakeside Graduate Apartments with bright red lanterns and decor, setting the stage for an immersive evening. Traditional Chinese lantern festival riddles, origami workshops, and calligraphy stations were arranged.

As the evening unfolded, students trickled into the buzzing space. The event commenced with uplifting remarks and a prayer of thanks from Bob Louer, our our esteemed director at ISI Princeton. Then, a feast of hot Chinese dishes 🥘 unfolded, accompanied by 300 sweet rice balls freshly prepared by our ISI team for dessert. 🍡
Throughout the evening, students immersed themselves in origami workshops, calligraphy stations, and lantern riddles that tested their wit.🏮 Our ISI friend even brought adorable live rabbits to play and cuddle with! 🐰

Each student departed with a special red packet 🧧!
Our ISI Lunar New Year celebration was an unforgettable experience of cultural exchange at Princeton.
Stay tuned for more exciting adventures at ISI! 😊
